A Wild Wide Woods ABC

Welcome to the Wild Wide Woods! This ABC collection gives you an alphabet of creatures, characters and colourful locations from the Woods, 26 hand drawn illustrations each giving you a different vista. The letters in the images are hand printed using vintage wood block letters, and the images woven around them, each one might be a moment from a longer narrative and might spark ideas in yiu to write them. The original poem was composed for the book and tangles through its pages, from Apple Jack endlessly dogged by Smiler, to the Weasel Wizard and his Skelly cat. Some of the creatures are to be found in myth and legends from around the world, and others are creations unique to the Woods, but all of them have its unique spin.

The book is 21 cm square and is a delight for reading to children and reading for yourself, it will take everyone a good few reads to find everyone hidden within its pages, and you’ll find yourself returning to it when the real world feels all a bit too much.

The price includes UK postage, I’m happy to post off island but drop me a line and I’ll check the best postal options for you.
